I visited Flat Top Arms today in Beckley, WV, the first time. I was so impressed and felt very well assisted in this wonderful gun shop.

  2. I have a Colt LE6920 AR-15. I would like to have a Magpul ASAP Sling Attachment installed on my gun. I have the part. I was wondering if that was something Mr. Tilley could do for me and also if I need an appointment for this? Thanks so much!

    • Yes, Mr Tilley can install that for you and you do not need an appointment. You might have to leave it with him, depending on his workload. He works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9-4.

      • Im wanting to have the front iron sight removed from my AR that is now scoped. Ive heard there a bugger and im better off having a shop do it. Would you guys be able to hook me up?

        • Yes. Those things are a pain. Bring it in and our gunsmith can take care of that. You will probably have to leave it because hunting season is upon us but we can definitely help you.

      • Hi,I’ve been to your shop a few times,I love it.i need some help with my rifle,a Century C308,can you weld me a rail on top of the receiver so I can mount my scope?maybe rig weld a steel rail on there for me?

        • I would recommend going with a bolt on rail instead of welding. Welding would be a rock solid mount but it can have a variety of problems, like having to refinish your rifle. The B&T bolt on mount is probably the best you can get and MFI also makes one. You can also try a H&K style claw mount. Some can be found relatively cheap (around 50.00) and they can be removed quickly, if need be. Might be worth looking at.

  7. Hello! i Friend of mine brought my Remington long gun over there to have a new firing pin put in due to the old firing pin broke in it . its been 9 months since he brought it over.. Ya’ll have called him to let him know it was ready to be picked up. but he keeps making excuses as to why he aint able to get over to ya’ll to pick it up. & i was wondering if can come pick it up? and what all i will need proof of to show that the gun is mine?

    • You will need the claim ticket to pick it up and we will probably call him to confirm, so make sure he is around his phone. Also, since he is the one that dropped it off, you will have to do a background check per ATF regulations.
