The Scripture of the Day is:

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

When my eldest was in Afghanistan, there were several times that I would be called to prayer.  One particular day a friend came by and I asked if she would pray with me because I was so heavily burdened for him.  A few days later she called me and said the Lord had led her to pray for him again; she said that she usually prays that God put a bubble around people to protect them.  In the middle of her prayer the Holy Spirit said to her that she must pray for him to be invisible.  He is home from Afghanistan now and he was awarded the bronze star.  When he was awarded the general told us that he could not tell us why my son was receiving the bronze star because it was classified.  But God knows why, because He kept him and made him invisible to the enemy.  Yesterday, I was confronted with a situation that I have no ability to fix; and the fallout hurts deeply but God reminded me that no weapon formed against me will prosper.  He reminded me that I am His; and even though I don’t have any understanding of what is going on, just like in my son’s situation, He will bring down the weapons that have been formed against me.  This is our heritage when we serve God and believe in His mighty power.  He destroys the enemy in our behalf and will bring a resolve.  I await the resolve because God’s victories are complete and the spoils of the battle will be mine.  My son received an award for his achievement; my reward is going to be better than I can even imagine.  Great is our God and great is His faithfulness to those who believe.

Father thank you for the power and might of your Word; and thank you that you comfort us in our times of trouble.  Thank you that you answer prayer and never fail.  We submit our lives to you and look to you for your deliverance from that tactics of the enemy.  We love you and ask these things in the name of your Son, Jesus, AMEN.

P.S.  In these last days that we are living we need to get as much of the word as possible.  If any of you have a ladies group at your church or Bible study that you would like to have a guest speaker, I would be anxious in the Lord to come and speak for you.  You may contact me at this email address.  Maranatha!
